ShortRun 2016

If you haven't been to Shortrun Seattle, you are doing yourself a disservice. This is one of my favorite events of the year. I first learned of Shortrun two years ago when I was interning for Wave Books. Basically, it is a comics jubilee! Unlike Comic-Con, which is attended by thousands of fans and hosted by gargantuan corporations, ShortRun is an indie-comics festival. Here, DIY is queen and it features some of the most talented folks in and around Seattle. This year, I will be co-exhibiting comics art with the talented Gabrielle Bates Stahlman and Blyss Ervin.
